When buying a business, Bruce was concerned about the Lease at the business premises for the business he wanted to buy. There was insufficient tenure under the current lease and it was not registered.
We were able to negotiate a new lease with the Landlord for an increased term and extra options on terms favourable to Bruce, including a rent incentive which he hadn’t thought to consider.
After settlement we were also able to ensure the lease was registered to make sure that his interest in the Lease were protected and therefore his new business had ongoing surety at the site.
